Length of Fellowship

Salary
$125,000 + bonus and benefits as a base. Total salary can be much more depending on the amount of overtime worked. Any hours over the contracted 18 hrs/week are payed the overtime rate of $175/hr.

Other Duties
The fellows will be expected to give lectures to the residents, perform scan shifts, be involved with billing, machine maintenance, as well as be involved with a minimum of two research projects.
Number of Sites
Maimonids Medical Center ED is the site of the fellowship. 120, 000 visits per year. Level 1 trauma center. STEMI and stroke center, cancer center, children’s hospital.

2-3 depending on the year
Additional Opportunities
We use TEE in cardiac arrest. Fellows get additional TEE experience in our Echo Lab.
We teach an annual NY City wide PEM conference that the fellows take part teaching.
We teach an annual Nerve Block Camp that the fellows take part in.
We are setting up an international rotation in Uganda.
Educational Experience
Educators outside of the ED are available to supplement the fellow's education.

Sports Medicine- MSK
Image Review
Both still images and video clips are obtained. All of our images are recorded and stored digitally. We perform weekly QA with Q path. We have wireless transmission of our images to PACS.
