Throughout residency approximately 50 hours of ultrasound didactics are offered.
Other Information
Our residents incorporate ultrasound into their clinical practice routinely. We do all of our own transvaginal ultrasound examinations for early pregnancy in the emergency department and it is rare that renal or biliary ultrasound examinations are ordered from radiology. Residents start thinking like physician sonologists from the beginning of residency and keep those habits throughout residency.
