University of Kentucky
Welcome and thank you for your interest in the University of Kentucky Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship Program!
We are located in the beautiful city of Lexington, KY! Lexington is a vibrant and thriving community known as the "Horse Capital of the World!" We are surrounded by an abundance of breathtaking Thoroughbred horse farms and bourbon distilleries!
Our 1 year multi-center fellowship program resides primarily at Albert B Chandler Hospital, a quaternary care, academic medical center that is the region's only level 1 trauma center. The annual ED volume at Chandler exceeds 85,000 patients, many of whom are critically ill with diverse pathology and comorbidities. Additionally, our fellows will work at Good Samaritan Hospital, a community hospital seeing >30,000 patients per year. Our program is led by ultrasound faculty dedicated to training you to be a leader in emergency ultrasound.
We are currently accepting applications for the 2024-2025 academic year! At this time we only accept applicants who are board certified/board eligible emergency medicine physicians. Please do not hesitate to reach out for more information.
