Opportunity to lecture and teach labs with The Emergency Ultrasound Course giving lectures for the Introductory, Advanced, Critical Care and Trauma Courses. Additional opportunity to teach medical students at USC SOM as part of their ultrasound curriculum.
Internal Lectures
Lectures to EM residents and attendings, as well as giving grand round lectures as well as the surgery residents and the Trauma/Critical Care surgical fellows.
Ultrasound Courses
Teaching with The Emergency Ultrasound Course as well as other national and international courses.
Mini-selective
Echo selective is available as well as a vascular lab selective. Global Health trips and involvement with the Global Health Fellowship at Prisma Health. Our residency also offers an ultrasound SST (sub-specialty track) program for the PGY-3 residents.
Other Information
The ultrasound program works closely with our emergency global health department on many projects. Currently, we are conducting a multi-site regional anaesthesia study in the US and Africa.
