The Department of Emergency Medicine at the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine has been a leader in emergency ultrasound since the introduction of ultrasound into Emergency Medicine. Fellows, residents and midlevel providers in our emergency medicine program are trained in the use of ultrasound to facilitate the diagnosis and management of a wide variety of serious and life-threatening pathologies.
