South Shore University Hospital (SSUH) in Bay Shore NY is starting a new one-year Ultrasound Fellowship in 2022. We have a 3-year Emergency Medicine (EM) Residency program with our first class graduating in 2022.

Fellows will have an opportunity to work in a community based tertiary care hospital in Bay Shore, NY with approximately 76,000 visits annually, and high levels of acuity. The Emergency Department is an American College of Surgeons verified Level II trauma center. We are also an American Heart Association award winning stroke and STEMI center. We have an incredibly diverse patient population and our department is a 911 ground and FAA approved air transport receiving hospital.

Fellows will get to teach the EM residents as well as rotating students, nurses and our faculty while developing their expertise in emergency ultrasound, research and education.
