Corewell Health / Emergency Care Specialists
Emergency Care Specialists, PC is excited to offer an adult, one-year emergency ultrasound fellowship within a rapidly growing medical community!
Our fellowship program's didactic sites are Corewell Health- West- Butterworth and Helen DeVos Children's Hospitals, level one adult and pediatric trauma centers that have a combined annual volume of ~150,000 patients. Our program's name changed in 2022 as a result of a large merger that brought together three Michigan health systems: Spectrum Health (Corewell- West), Beaumont Health (Corewell-East) and Lakeland Health (Corewell- South).
A national leader in health care, Corewell Health's mission is to improve health, inspire hope and save lives. Corewell Health supports research, academics, innovation and clinical care. High-volume and clinically diverse programs and services offer a specialized experience in primary, tertiary and quaternary care.
Our program is located in Grand Rapids, Michigan's second largest city, with more than 65,000 undergraduate and graduate students, a thriving economy, and a rapidly expanding population. It's the economic and cultural hub of West Michigan, with an abundance of recreational, dining and entertainment attractions to enjoy. For outdoor enthusiasts, the gorgeous, sandy beaches of Lake Michigan are just 45 minutes away. World-class golf course can be enjoyed in spring and summer months, as well as biking and hiking year-round. Ford International Airport has direct flights and easy connections through Chicago or Detroit, which are both just a three-hour drive away.
