The fellowship curriculum is based on ACEP's Emergency Ultrasound Guidelines and ACEPS's Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship Guidelines.
In addition to the departmental US core faculty, the fellow has opportunities to scan with:
- Anesthesia faculty
- Cardiology faculty
- Critical care faculty in the ICU
- World class sonographers who direct the sonography program at IU
- Vascular Sonographers
- Sports Medicine Faculty

Fellow participate continually in a QA review process that includes review of 100% of the studies performed in the ED.
