Give lectures to the ultrasound division each month
Attend weekly fellowship rounds
Cadaver lab for ultrasound-guided procedures

Additional Opportunities
Our ultrasound group occasionally provides ultrasound courses to other departments within the medical center (surgery, ICU, IM) as well as at local community ED's. Fellows have the opportunity to lecture and provide hands-on instruction at these courses.
Educational Experience
Fellows perform the majority of their scan shifts with division faculty. These shifts are done during a time when neither the fellow nor faculty have any clinical duties.
Fellows may also arrange observation time in various outside departments:
-Echo lab
-Vascular lab
-Obstetrics clinic
-Physiatry clinic (MSK ultrasound)
Image Review
Fellows meet with the fellowship directors weekly to review the fellows' scans for the preceding week. Video clips and still images are presented and discussed.
