Outside Lectures

We routinely provide EUS lectures in our hospital, to surrounding hospitals (including Newport, Hasbro, and Miriam hospitals). All our POCUS faculty lecture regularly as invited speakers at major regional, national, and international POCUS conferences and educational courses.
Internal Lectures
Pass-the-pointer style lectures are given multiple times a year in PEM conference. POCUS fellows and faculty provide 3-4 EUS lectures per year to PEM faculty and fellows and EM residents at their weekly conference. Additionally there is regular presence of EUS fellows and faculty for discussion at the trauma, ICU, and pediatric conferences.
Ultrasound Courses
We have held 3 national PEM POCUS Courses here at Brown, drawing PEM POCUS faculty expert educators from all over New England. Our core faculty have all taught at courses nationally (ACEP, AAP, SAEM, P2Network, WINFOCUS), locally (Yale's New England POCUS Course in Newport), internally (Brown) and internationally.
