Fellows will have opportunities to participate in ultrasound courses given locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally.
Internal Lectures
Fellows will have opportunities to lecture within resident conference following the resident's 18 month rolling curriculum on core ultrasound topics. Fellows will also have opportunities to lecture during the monthly Echocardiography / ECG hour in resident conference, annual OB FAST / Basic Echo ultrasound day and several times a year at the joint Critical Care Fellows weekly conference day.
Ultrasound Courses
Fellows will have opportunities to lecture and lead hands-on sessions at our Transesophageal Echocardiography Course given to both Emergency Medicine and Critical Care attendings, CC Fellows, and EM / IM residents. This course is held 4 to 6 times a year depending on demand. It is a combination of 5 hours of lecture and 2 hours of SIM.
