Resident Education Experience
Is there a dedicated US month?
EM Resident ultrasound experience is longitudinal and consists of:
-a two day intern ultrasound orientation
-a one week ultrasound immersion rotation
-followed by ten scanning shifts spread throughout remainder of training experience.

Yes

Each scanning shift is 8 hours. Residents are scheduled for 88 hours of hands-on ultrasound experience
