Funding is available to attend one national conference and the ACEP Emergency Ultrasound Management Course.
Other Duties
Fellows will participate in quality assurance once a week and journal club once a month.
Fellows will provide bedside teaching to residents, medical students and APPs. Responsibilities will also include preparing and presenting basic ultrasound lectures at image review and residency grand rounds. Current ultrasound faculty present regularly at regional conferences which fellows will also participate in. There are also opportunities to participate in FOAM development and SonoGames.
Fellows can participate in any ongoing research and/or develop a project with the support of ultrasound faculty.

Image Review
Image review occurs weekly with our ultrasound faculty, residents on their dedicated ultrasound month and any other interested providers. Feedback to the provider performing the ultrasound is completed on all point-of-care studies is acquired in our department.
