Welcome to Emergency Ultrasound at The University of Pennsylvania!

The goal of our fellowship is fourfold:
1. We hope to provide an environment where fellows can become outstanding clinicians. In deed more than in word, our practice involves the integration of ultrasonography into the care of our patients.
2. We hope that the experience of teaching and championing ultrasonography within our departement, our institution, and nationally, will foster teachers and educators for our specialty and for emergergency ultrasonography.
3. We hope that fellows, through research in ultrasound as well as exposure to the rich academic environment in our department, will develop the tools for a successful and productive career in academic EM.
4. Despite the hard work involved in attaining these goals during a brief fellowship, we hope that our fellows have some FUN during this busy time at the beginning of their careers!
